New Addition to the Metaphor Studio Community

CINCINNATI, Ohio - September 14, 2004 - Suzanne Beane, a business and marketing consultant, has been hired as Brand Strategist for Metaphor Studio, (www.metaphorstudio.com) an integrated marketing communications agency in historic Over-the-Rhine, providing branding, interactive and advertising strategy through a proprietary process of Community Experience Development(TM).

During the past five years, Beane's talents have led her into account management, new business development, consulting, project management and copywriting. She specializes in creating strategic marketing approaches for businesses seeking growth and change. Her passion is telling her client's story in a way that creates a new identity, inspires imagination and builds community.

Prior to joining Metaphor Studio, Beane worked independently under Suzanne Beane Marketing Services and offered consulting to clients including United Audit Systems, Inc., PayServ Systems, The Outbound Group (Detroit, MI) and The Wedding Ring Store (Lansing, MI). Beane also consulted with askROCCO Media, a Metaphor Studio client. During the work with Rocco Castellano, Beane realized that the creative environment at Metaphor Studio was a good fit for her skills and ambitions.

Before working as an independent consultant, Beane was a partner in KGB! (KemperGaedeBeane Advertising), in Over-the-Rhine. There she managed multi-media advertising/brand campaigns and Interactive projects for clients such as Mid-Ohio Cardiology and Vascular Consultants, Krombholz Jewelers, Bloomington Hospital and Healthcare System (Bloomington, Indiana), Doran Manufacturing and DMinSite among many others.

Preceding life at advertising agencies, Beane spent seven years in the newspaper business. From 1992-1998, Suzanne served as Major Accounts Executive for The Cincinnati Enquirer and Post and managed advertising contracts for some of the newspapers' largest clients. She was also selected to work on special projects at The Cincinnati Enquirer and Post, including New Media and Newspapers in Education (NIE). In 1991 at The Cleveland Edition, a weekly arts and entertainment newspaper serving the urban market in Cleveland, Ohio, Suzanne was both Classified Manager and Contributing Writer.

Beane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia School of Journalism.

Suzanne lives in Mt. Lookout with her husband Jon. They have two children, Samuel, 10 and Lily, 6. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, fiction books and college basketball.
