Ohio's Largest Medicaid Managed Health Care Plan Metaphor Studio selected to provide Web site consulting, design and development
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Sept. 24, 2004 - CareSource, Ohio's largest Medicaid managed health care plan, has selected Metaphor Studio to provide Web site consulting, design and development. Based in Dayton, CareSource serves almost 350,000 Medicaid consumers in 13 counties in Ohio.
Metaphor Studio was selected from 15 firms that responded to CareSource's Request for Proposals to redesign its Web site for Ohio and create new Web sites for CareSource's parent company, CareSource Management Group, and its Medicaid managed health care plans in other states. CareSource executives chose Metaphor Studio based on its staff's creative talents and firm grasp of technology.
As a managed health care organization, CareSource focuses on prevention with a goal of improving member health and the quality and accessibility of services for Medicaid consumers. CareSource assists in the coordination of member care by partnering with a network of 8,000 participating doctors, hospitals and other health care providers.
Metaphor Studio will develop Web sites for CareSource Management Group, and for its Medicaid health care plans in Michigan and Indiana. Metaphor Studio will also redesign the existing Web site for the CareSource plan in Ohio. The three planned Web sites will provide interactive services for members and providers as well as areas for community agencies, job applicants, the media and the general public. Metaphor Studio is pleased to work with CareSource's Communications and IT teams on all of these projects.
CareSource joins the growing list of health care clients for Metaphor Studio. The agency engaged with LasikPlus Vision Centers to create an Interactive Web site to serve their consumers in 36 centers nationwide.
